The Year

1. These last few projects have taught me the most. The business development activities. I have learned more from these than from any of the other stuff have have done this year because everything else was pretty much step by step knowing what to do but the entrepenuer activites we have done really opened my mind to a new field i might go into.
2. Hmm blogging is alright but I dont plan to continue to do it because I rather tell close friends my problems and sometimes have have to mught stuff on my mind.
3. Hmm the project helped me see how certain jobs may operated. It was very life like at the begining but started to become less and less over the semester. I know it depends on the students you have in your class but I would probably recommened more real life job activities to include with the coffee geek squad thing and well maybe changing the name to something most teenagers would like hahaha. ;)
4. Umm truthfully for my personal self I didn't act good because of the snacks I just am not that type of person to annoy and I like to do my work and keep to my own self and leave play time to when I have finished everything. Though i do appreciate the snacks! Thanks!
5.Yes Peterperfect was something that helped me see how to run a business even more properly than what i first had in mind. It taught me some key points and well they were fun to watch. The thing i didn't like were quizes that we took on an episode we watched a day ago or even 2 days ago because I have alot of stuff going on and sometimes your questions were too specific and I couldn't remember the details other than that they were great. Yes I might also plan to start to business career because for one thing your class has taught me alot of things in that area that i really liked to hear and it seems something challenging to take on. I like challenges. Another thing is that before I left my dad he was a real business person. He sold things and worked in companies and well that motivates me even more. Also i think businesses are a thing of the future. Movies come out every year showing these high tech business that influence the work. Some of them turn to be out bad like umm the one business in the Terminator movie and others turn out to impact the world in a big way. It is just a though to consider for the rest of my time in school and when I start to search for a career.

Student problems

Student's fight as school knowing the consquences because they dont care and they are angry. When you are angry you cannot think clearly and you just want to get everything settled with. It takes a mind that is disciplined to over come these problems but most of the time it is anger that makes us choose the wrong things. If a student hits a teacher that should be punished as a regular crime. We aren't talking about suspension but jail time but a reduced time because in the real world that is what happens

The best and worst

The best customer experience I have went through had to be that at Hollisters in Daytona. I was looking through different shirts trying to find the right size and the right prices and one of the employees just seemed to have read my mind and brought me the exact shirt i was looking for. I also asked him many questions and they were all answered. Now the worst experience had to be that at a restaurant which i can't quite remember well but the waiter would never come and instead just sat down all day doing nothing but text on his cell phone. My family was really mad.

MOrning or Night

I consider myself as a night person because I sleep really late in the morning but I stay up really late usually going to parties or just doing things at home at the regular. It's a bad habit to have but right now it seems like its just normal thing. I've tried sleeping earlier but for some reason when I wake up I am still sleepy so for right now I will keep this habit.

Ideal Business

IF i could open a ideal business it would a new fashion store for teenagers. The brands we have today are old and it seems to be the right time to open a brand new store that sales the latest things. It would make big bucks not only through popularity and advertising but through customer service as well and consumer ease.

Jr Sr Skip day

I think that the highschool should just excuse the absences on that day. Or well if they do that they shouldn't even have school on that day because then it would be sure that a lot more people would be gone. Either way it seems like there is no hope for that day because everyone goes out. People can come back with any excuse from a written note from a parent and get that absence excused with a lie so I really dont see the point.

Free Write

Well there isn't much to write about. Had a great weekend with the mother's day deal. We went to my aunts house and ate a lot. I played with my cousins. Also we had the soccer banquet this weekend which was really fun. I hung out with friends and we swam and watched the soccer video and ate hamburgers. Then I went to another party the next day with my mom's friend and that one was really boring but it was ok because I talked with my girl the whole time i was there through the fun. Overall the weekend was ok.

Good Salesperson

I think that I would make a good salesperson. My actual father is a sales man so he must have passed on some those good salesman traits to me. If I were to sale products it would have to be something trendy and something that the public wants. Maybe a latest invention like a rocket powered backpack. That would sell quick and easily. That doesn't mean that i can't sell anything else. Of course whatever is giving to me to sell I would do my best on pursuading the public that the item is of high quality and the best.

MOst Ironic name

I haven't really heard of any ironic business names but if I had to choose a close one it would be Dr. Fender. He is a dentist and well fender reminds me of bracers quite often. Also known as fenders for you teeth. :)

Craziest invention

In Science class our teacher was showing us magazines of different inventions already made and the craziest one I have heard of yet is the jetpack backpack because I thought that it was just something that was seen in the movies but it is real and they are trying different way to improve it. Soon people are going to be flying around with jetpack engines on their backs getting to places.

Marketing Commercial

My favorite marketing commercial are the geico ones with the gecko and cavemen. There are some that they make that are halarious and some that are ok. This catches the attention of many people and it is basically how that company has become famous overtime.

Swine Flu Epidemic

I think that the swine flu is something we should worry about like we are. It has already caused death in this country as well as many other deaths in Mexico. This flu could come hit this state any time because enfluenza is a highly contagious disease and could be transfered easily by people. There are people coming in and out of the United States at all times and an infected one could easily end up in Georgia or in other parts of the United States. It is better safe than sorry like always and we should be prepared for this flu by taking precautions.

If Money were no object

If money were no object I would probably be somewhere in Europe. Maybe in Italy or Greece or maybe even Spain or France. Anyone of those countries would be a great experience to have in your life time. Oh yea and Australia as well to go surfing and ride around on a kangaroo. :)

3 Favorite things

Job

Currently I am not enrolled in a job because through all of the school's activities especially soccer, it just doesn't give me the time to be able to do anything after school but when this summer comes I do plan to be enrolled in a job. I think it will be the same one I did last year and that is out in the blackberry fields. It pays good and I think it is pretty simple. I will also be out with my friends and we have fun out there. I ran out of last year's summer's money so I am ready to start this job as soon as possible because it stinks being poor.

Spantaneous????

Hmm the most spontaneous thing i have ever done. Well I really don't know the definition of spontaneous but I have a clue of what it is. This morning I am pretty sleepy so I really can't think back of all the things I have done in my past life but the first one that comes to mind is jumping off a really high platform into a deep waterhole. My family took a trip to this waterhole with really cool blue water. The place was pretty neat and it was surrounded on it's north side by a really high cliff with a platform on it. I took the chance at the end of the day and jumped off of it. The surge was pretty exciting but scary at the same time.

Keeping it a Secret

No I wouldn't have answered the way Miss California did. At first I would have won the contest with just saying very little of what I believed in and then after all of that was over I would be famous and would have a chance to really state the truth out to the people through the press that would be all over me.

Weekend

My weekend was pretty great. On Friday I went to go get my suit checked out for the 15 that I am going to bein May 30th. Then I went home and we had visitor, my aunt and uncle. On Saturday I went to practice for the 15 and then right after we went over to another girl's actual 15 party. It was a great night. I danced a lot with friends and I just passed an amazing night. I got home at 1am and went to bed. Yesterday I was also out of the house alot. I went over to a friend's house to help him with a project. Then afterwards I went over to play soccer with some other friends and that finished early so I headed over to yet again other friend's house to play volley. I got home at 8:30 and we watched a movie called "Yesman" Which was pretty good. I then prepared myself for today.

Prom 09

Well I hope that this years prom will turn out good. I'm not going because I have other things to do that Saturday that I already signed up for and they rely on me to be there. If i would have known it would have been during prom I wouldnt have signed up to go in the first place but oh well things happen and I guess there will always be next year ;)

Hazing

I think that hazing is not that big of a deal. People are making more of a big deal about it then it should really be. It is really the choice of the person if they want to do it or not. They are not FORCED into doing it so there is nothing wrong with it. When people are forcing people into doing things that they dont want to do then yes it is wrong and should be punished for but other then that it is left to the wise decision of the person.

Weather DAy breaks and Spring Break

Alright well over the weather days i havent done anything but sit around watch tv and get on the computer. Of course every day that i have been home, my mom has left me something to do at the house as in chores so that hasnt been that fun. During that weekend I went over my friend's house and just chilled and then that Monday we went to Panama City beach for 3 days. It was pretty fun since there were no parents and it was just my friends and me and things got pretty crazy. In the end everything turned out to be alright. I came back home with more chores awaiting me and then Friday and Saturday we celebrated my Step dad's birthday. We made a little cook out on Saturday for him and we just chilled at home until like 1 am. The next day we got up early to go to the State park and celebrated Easter with the little kids and stuffed ourselves with food. Overall this holiday was great.

Cooking and Baking

I dont cook or bake. I've never been really interested in that kind of stuff but the best thing i have probably ever made was maybe a sandwhich or something. Other then that I let mom do all that stuff.

Posative Influence

One person that has really influenced my life has been my mom in all ways because she is the one that raised me ever since i was little and we left my dad. She has always been there for me when i needed her even if she has had her bad days and she sacrafices herself in hard working jobs just to be able to feed me and my brother and for that I respect her.

During Testing

My week during testing has been pretty easy. I mean I could live with it if it was all we had to do. It was basically watch movies, play cards, sleep extra long hours and basically no work at all. I liked the days that we went to 1st and 2nd block because those were the days I really didn't do anything but a few things in each block. 3rd and 4th blocks however we worked like crazy even though people had just taken the test. If i had to find one word to call that week it would prolly be boring but easy.

Short Travel

If I could go anywhere within a 3-4 hour distance from Douglas it would either be Valdosta or Albany. I prefer Albany because it has a better mall than Valdosta but I really need to go to stores and get me some new clothes and maybe new shades because I lost my last pair. Of course i wouldn't go with a family member. Instead i would go with some of my friends. It is so much more fun that way.

On my report card

On my report card I expect to get all A's. I have done well in my classes even though it has been alot of stress because of soccer. Most of the classes are easy to handle though and what i hate is that it is a bit repetetive meaning we do that same thing over and over again which is fourth block but even through all of this I still expect an A in every subject.

Eating one thing for the Rest of my Life

If I had to eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be a hard decision. If it came down to it though I would probably end up picking Zaxby's chicken

Free Write

Well yesterday we just had our soccer game against Valdosta. It was a pretty intense game and the results came out in our favor. Of course in the first half they were ahead by one point and the score was 1-0 but this wasn't surprising because in every game we end up getting scored on first. This didn't break our spirits because soon after off of a corner kick Howard scored a nice goal and the score was tied. This was our chance to get ahead and everyone was psyched. Soon after, one of the midfielders sent a ball to the open space and Howard chased it down again. He got a hold of the ball and shot it and then the keeper grabbed it but then let it go and it was a goal. The score was up 2-1 now and Coffee was dominating on their grounds. In the end we won and that was it.

Sexting and Consequences

Sexting is the act of sending sexual pictures and information over the phone to other people you might trust or you just want to get with. The major consequence for doing this is that these people may not be as trustworthy as you think and they will forward these messages or pictures of you to other friends and by the end everyone is going to know or be informed of what is suppose to be privacy for you. This may lead to jokes or bullying of you and it might just mess up your life.

If a Student Fails....

The only reason a student should fail Ms. Gay's class is if they are absent alot of if they don't even try. Her class is very easy to pass and the work is simple if you don't let it run over you. In fact I almost complete the work before we even start on it and also she gives you many chances to just make a 100 and nothing lower so any other reason would not be an excuse.

If I could change one thing about my life, I would change the jobs that my parents have to something that they actually enjoy and can make a whole lot of money.

Unique Family

I really wouldn't say there is anything unique about my family except that my Grandma has alot of children. I think that she was 7 kids. My two uncles and my 4 aunts and then my mom. We also keep a tradition to keep both of the last names of both sides of the family for example I'm not only Mauricio Soto, Soto being the last name of my dad but I am Mauricio Soto Abrego I just don't use it that way. Abrego would be the last name of my mom.

Sunday Doings

I go to church from time to time. Somtimes we start a trend and we go from Sunday to Sunday every day at church but then sometimes we stop going from a short amount of time and well I know that isn't good but sometimes we have other things to do or mom doesn't wake up early enough like she is suppose to. My religion is Catholic and I attend the Catholic church in Fitzgerald. That is a bit ways from my house (about 30 minutes), so sometimes when the gas is high we also skip church. When we don't go to church we usually just spend most of the day cleaning up the house and that is probably it.

Free Write

Umm well today I have a game against Tifton. We are leaving at 2:45 during school so that is good atleast I get to miss some of my fourth block even though it's not much. Right now I am very nervous and we need this win because we have lost every other good game. We have actually won one by alot but they didn't count because they weren't all that great. Apart from being nervous I also hope that I get to play some this game. Since we have alot of mid fielders it is pretty hard to get a starting position and since this is my first year I am not all that great yet but every day I work towards getting there.

My favorite kind of Cupcake

I really don't have a favorite kind of cupcake. Or I really haven't really thought about it. I just like the ones that taste good with good icing on them but that is just about it. I really don't eat cupcakes or don't really regularly eat them.

My Pet Peeve

I really don't know what my biggest pet peeve is. There a plenty of things that could bother me but if I had to choose one it would be people interrupting you while you are talking. For example take if you are talking to a friend about something serious and then another friend that is sitting right beside you pops in with a random event that happened. It disrupts all the attention off of you and well you never get out what you had to say in the first place. It is so annoying sometimes but I ignore it because I also interrupt sometimes unintentionally.

Snow on Sunday

Yesterday while I was heading out of the house to get ready to go to church I noticed little white fluff falling out of the sky. At first I thought it was trash or something and then I noticed it was very cold. After the third time closely looking at it I noticed it was snow. I was amazed because it's been a long time since snow has truly fallen. I saw that it didn't stick and made the ground really damp around but I was still pretty happy about things and I went inside and told everyone in the house about it. But yea the snow was alright but I had wished that it wouldn't be that cold yesterday.

On my Mind right now- Blog # 30

Right now there are many things that are going through my mind as usual. Somethings I rather keep to myself but others I guess I could write about. Varsity has a soccer game today against Houston at their place. If our Varsity wins then we will be 1st place in the region and first or second place in the state. This is a very important match for Varsity and even I am nervous right now. Also I am also thinking of the things I am already planning to do this weekend and that is going on to party on Saturday like usual but I have to find out where. Also there is a soccer game tonight that I plan on going to because my friend is playing. He goes to Ocilla and I want to check out how they do. Also there is another reason why I would like to go but I would rather keep that to myself. We'll just say that it involves someone I want to see.

Neices or Nephews?

Yes currently right now I am not an uncle yet but I am about to be one. My cousin is fixing to have his first baby. Its going to be born sometime next month I believe or the month after. I really don't see a big deal my part though because I would really have nothing to be responisble for. Yes I would like to see how he turns out to be but I am not really all that crazy about babies. I care for them yes but I don't go like awwwww when I see one.

Goals Acomplished?

Well for the most part I've been following up on my goals pretty well. I am still keeping a 98 and above average. I am still improving on soccer and that is something that you can never stop doing because there is always something to work on or to practice. I did go to GHP interview and I tried my best but I still don't know if they have picked me to go yet. The workout schedule is the one I have slacked on. I have stopped doing those because of all of the stuff that has been going on. I just really havent had the time but that is my fault as well because sometimes when I do have time I do other things instead. Overall, most of the goals I have followed through successfully.

If I could switch places with anybody in the world for one day, I would probably switch places with some really successful and rich person just to see what it would be like to be them for a day. Then at the end of the day I would sent a lot of their money to me so I can spend it how I want ;)

This weekend was pretty good overall. Friday I reallly can't remember what I did after school. Think I just stayed at home and played soccer with my little brother. Saturday I had a game against Pierce County at their place and we killed them. We won 11-3 but the downside is that it wasn't a very challenging game and we were bored the whole time. Later on that day I found out that Grandma came back from Texas and we went to pick her up. Then that night I went to see Friday 13th with some friends and then after that we went to dance. Sunday was normal. Some cousins came over my house and I just played with them all day.

I listen to a lot of different music and of all those types I don't really have a specific favorite singer. Some of those types I listen to are probably unknown to most of you. Some of my favorite artist include many Latin artist like Camila. Of course I listen to other music as well. Rap, a good rapper I know is Lil' Wayne. I also like Nickleback's songs and some of Three Doors Down. Over all, the list could go on forever as well because each artist of each genre has their own special talents are I appreciate and think of as good.

Holiday Weekend

This past weekend wasn't all that great as I expected it to be. Aside from the relief from all of the school work nothing much really happened. Friday I was home and if I remember correctly I went to some birthday party at my cousin's. Little kids birthday parties aren't all that fun so I just hung out and played a few games. Saturday I went to the Monitor in Fitzgerald with some friends. It is like a dancing club or somewhat related. The entrance fee was 10 dollars per person and well I danced all that night. I woke up really late the next day which was Sunday and I really can't remember what I did that day. Yesterday I had a game and we lost 3-2 against Lowndes which was really pityful because they weren't that great. That game should have been won if it wasn't for the new goalie or for the autogoal that happened during the game. But in the end mistakes happened and all we can do is learn from them. This week I really plan to step up my game and we will see how it turns out.

Valentine's Day Plans

This Saturday is Valentine's Day and I really don't have anything to do that day. I do have a couple of plans. I am going to deliver somethings to this special someone I know and then probably MAYBE spend that day with her. It's complicated to explain but just know that I can't always be around her. Then after that I will go home and watch my team play soccer. I really don't have much special planned but maybe I will even go out to eat.

Favorite Website to Browse

I would have to say that my favorite website to browse through would be Myspace or now even facebook. I really don't get on any other websites on the computer unless I am looking to buy something like soccer shoes or anything of that sort but like most of everyone, I get on myspace and talk to friends and view pictures and all that sort of stuff that you do on there. I also just recently had facebook because some friends only had facebook so I start to get on there alot more often. Overall I don't use the computer that much.

Hairstyle Appearance

I would have to agree with the article. I do believe that people do judge based on appearance. Many people say that you have to get to know the person to be able to judge them but when you first meet someone you don't know, you cannot say that you base on if you want to talk to them or not on their appearance. In particularly hairstyle is something that would change a person and I take that from personal experience. I used to have a hairstyle with my hair just flat on the head. It had no gel, hairspray , or anthing like that. Not many people talked to me but I am not sure if some of the reasons was because of the way I looked. I started changing my style from a country person to just a regular modern person and this is the way I am right now. My hair is spiked up and I try and wear the modern everyday clothes. I have improved on the many friends I have and made even new ones. Now Walters' ideas about hair parting may be a little off but they are valid to think about. I usually think of people who part their hair through the middle as geeks and well I guess that is sorta related to wise.

Progress Reports coming up

This Monday we have progress reports but I'm not worried one bit. I am pretty confident I am doing good in all classes. 1st 2nd and 3rd I have grades above a 98 and 4th block I might have the 95 because I started the year off wrong in that class. Either way I am pretty happy with my grades but I have to step up my game to keep those grades to atleast a 99 or 100 by the end of this term to raise up my rank back to number 1. My mom never comes to open house because she says that the teachers just say the same things over and over again so I don't think that we will come this time.

Solutions to smoke problem.

Of course we all know that this campus is a drug free but the smoking is up to the people themselves. We really can't control the people sneaking around and smoking unless there is an administrator in the bathrooms at all time. I hate it when you go into the bathrooms and come out with your clothes smelling like smoke and that is why we need to stop this. One way I think that this could be solved is that if the school spent some money on any device that detects cigarette smoke if there is such a thing. It would send a signal to the front office that would alert them in which bathroom the smoke is detected. Then it would turn on a camera in the main part of the bathroom (not in the stalls) all of the people it catches that come out of the stalls which is usually where the smoking happens would be searched for cigarette lighters or packets or any drug.

Yesterday

Yesterday I had a decent day. Starting with first block I finished all my work but I started typing up some work for another class and turned out that I wasn't able to save it. But after all of that, the rest of my day went fine. Other classes were regular and in my last class I am almost pretty sure I passed the first part of the test with an A. The second part was pretty hard but I am sure that I passed that too. At practice it was like other days nothing too special and when I got home I fell asleep for the rest of the night. Well I did wake up to take a bath and get my clothes ready for the next day but after that I fell right back asleep. Those decent days are the ones that make your life boring because nothing extraordinary happens but nothing horribly bad happens either.

Michael Phelp

I think that what he did was irresponsible also but like it said in the article, it set a bad example for the other athletes and people that look up to him. He apologized for his actions but even if he did so, many apologize can be broken. I hope that he truly did recognize that what he did was wrong but people cannot be so sure all the time.

American Idol

I've never really watched American Idol I've just heard a lot about it. The reason I don't watch it is because I don't have the channel or atleast I don't think. I do watch something similar to it but a spanish version so I am sure I would like it. My family use to sit together and watch that every Sunday Night and we would have a great time laughing at their singing or criticizing them.

I hate cold weather for many reasons. I mean not only is it annoying wearing all those clothes to keep you warm but you can't do as many activities as you would do in the summer. For instance summer is usually related to beaches and sun. Those are some of my favorite things to enjoy. Plus hot days also mean fine girls at the beach. Also in the winter I tend to get really really really white and I am mexican. It's not normal for me but it is because there isn't much sun in the winter or it is too cold to stay outside. Winter also means long nights and short days. It feels like your days fly by and you barely have time to do anything. Summer hot days are long and the nights are short. Long days mean that you have more time to accomplish stuff in the daylight. Winter is not my favorite season and cold weather is something I detest.

Not an Early Waker

I am not an early bird type of person. I like to get as much sleep as I can which basically says that I am very lazy to do things. Usually on the weekends I wake up around 11 in the morning. That is basically very late but I am not tired when I wake up. It does make me feel bad though because it feels as if my whole day has been wasted but I usually can't help it. Someone has to come in there and tell me to wake up before I even think about opening my eyes. On school days it's different. I like being on time for things I have to show up for. School is one of those things but I usually stretch my time to the last second I can get up before I can be ready and on time for the bus. That is usually around 6:30 am. Overall, if I am allowed to then I will wake up the latest I can.

Eating Breakfast in the Morning

My thoughts to this are pretty simple. It does make sense that people that do not eat breakfast are heavier because not eating breakfast in the morning does not give you the energy you need to complete task you need to do throughout the day. Without the energy, you will more then likely just sit down and do nothing all day that is why it is critical that we eat breakfast. It doesn't mean that you can't skip breakfast every once in a while because I know that I do and I am not obese. It is just better for you to eat in the morning to start off your day.

Lending

The quote "Never lend your car to anyone to whom you have given birth" just simply means that parents shouldn't trust kids with their cars. This, in my opinion, is telling everyone that kids are not responsible for valuable things and will probably get in trouble. The quote really don't apply to everyone. It depends how your personality is or the way you act. If your parent's can trust you then sure they should lend the car to you but of course keep precautions. Like some of my friends, I don't think their parent's could trust them with anything valuable because they are reckless at the things they do and wouldn't be tagged as responsible children. It really all depends on the type of person you are.

100-0 Opinion

Basically what had happened here is that the Covenant School girl team in Texas went against Dallas High School girl team. Covenant beat them without mercy with a score that signaled 100-0. Now people are arguing that it wasn't right to beat someone that bad because the embarassment is really bad for the opposing school. There is a "Golden Rule" in sport which includes easing off if you are winning by that much. In my opinion there should be no reason to apologize at all. A competition is a competition and if you are there to ease off the opposing team then you're not really compeating. In sport it's survival of the fittest. If you don't have the skill, strength, and endurance to survive out in the court then don't play. If it was me I wouldn't have apologized but that is my opinion on things.

Social Networks

A social network is a location on the internet where you talk to friends, post pictures, write blogs, or have a page of your own to reveal a little about yourself. An example would be a Myspace page. I have a myspace page I get on a post pictures of different things like trips or parties. Social networks are usually used to just "socialize" with other people.

Article #1

Well my thoughts on the article of the teens that got caught sending the nude pictures is quite simple. I know that it is dangerous sending nude pictures of yourself especially through a cell phone ,but it is against what the constitution in my view. I think that one of the amendments to the constitution is that Americans have the freedom of speech and one could argue that this freedom could also be corporal as well which means that just showing picture of yourself to other people shouldn't be punished the same way as if someone else forcefully or illegally took a picture of your body without your permission and sent it to everyone. Of course it is dangerous like I already said but my thoughts is that it shouldn't be punished in the same way and consitionally wise, I believe it's quite legal if you look at it that way.

Ummm....

Well I guess I will write about my week so far. Monday we had the day off...from school. Even though it was a day off I still had to do a bunch of work at home. This included the usual chores like vacuuming and sweeping and such ,but then I also had to help fix my daddy's truck. Monday was more of a work day for me. There was nothing free about it. Yesterday it was a normal school day nothing too much out of the ordinary except for the inaguration that went on TV. We sat in 3rd block watching Obama make his speech and mess up on his oath to office even though it wasn't really a big deal. After school we had our first day of soccer tryouts. It was freezing out there and as a result I have a sore throat today. We did the usual running and played with the ball a little learning how to handle it better. After that we had a little scrimmage and then after a few sprints we went home. And that was pretty it. Today hold unexpected things and I will welcome them with arms open.

2009 Inaguration

I believe that the actual inaguration is when the president in front of millions of Americans makes his speech about what he plans for the United States and then takes his oath of office. This formally establishes his presidency in our government. I don't really know what other events take place at an inaguration but if I were to guess I would say they would have a parade of some sort. I don't really know anyone who has been to the an inaguration, not even me. I usually just watch it on TV at school because they put it on.

Activities that Mess Up your Sight

Well I will have to admit that I do some things that may cause damage to my eyesight. For one I sometimes don't care how close I am to the any electronic screen. Sitting to close to like computer screens or TV screens can damage your eyesight even though everyone does it. Also I use to look at the sun trying to see what it looked like before and that caused harm to my eyesight. I don't always wear sunglasses when I am out in the sun even though they say you are suppose to. I also keep my contact lenses on at night even though I am suppose to take them off every night and put them in a solution. Right nwo I'm starting to see blurry and I am not sure if it is because of the contact lenses or my vision getting bad. Maybe it is time to change them. Apart from all of these things there are probably others things that I don't know of that damage my eyesight.

Favorite TV show

I wouldn't really have a favorite TV show. I watch TV very rarely but when I get the chance, the TV show that I always see if it is on is the show House. This show is interesting in many ways. It is about this medical team that figures out many cases concering most of the time with new sicknesses. House is sort of the master mind behind all this critical thinking and he is always developing new guesses for what the disease may be. He is a very smart man and he never like to be wrong. In fact he never stops until he solves the problem and he is very rarely wrong. This TV show is interesting because of that matter. I like watching shows where they have to investigate to find out the case. When hope seems all lost there is always someone that has to come up with something and House usually does.

2009 Goals

1) This year I'm trying out to be on the soccer team. I am going to try hard to work on my soccer skills and improve on what I have to work out such as dominating the ball a bit more.



2) I have signed up for the Governor's Honors program and February 7 there is an interview I that will be held somewhere in Athens. I plan to do my best at that interview and then head for the Governor's Honors Program this summer.



3) This semester I plan to keep all of my class grades at above a 98. I do not like having any grade lower because then it drops my overall average which will damage my long term goal of trying for Valedictorian.

4)I also plan to keep a workout schedule going for this year. Trying to miss a little days of that schedule is my plan so I will work hard for that fact.

5) I want to also get a new job this year but that will have to be after soccer. My goal for this will be that in whatever job that I get, I strive to be the best at whatever I do.
